Your draft is a useful starting point

A contract created with ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI tool can show us your goals, priorities, and the terms you had in mind. That gives us a clearer starting point and may reduce the emails needed to understand the deal.

We cannot rubber-stamp the submitted draft. We turn it into a requirements list for you to review and approve, then draft the contract ourselves around those approved terms.

How the drafting process works

Step 1

Send us the draft

It helps us see what you are trying to accomplish.

Step 2

We identify the requirements

We pull out the business terms and decisions that need to appear in the agreement.

Step 3

You approve the requirements

You confirm the deal before legal drafting begins.

Step 4

We draft the contract

We prepare the agreement from the requirements you approved.

No separate fee for the requirements step

Requirements extraction is part of the drafting process. It has no separate fee, and sending an AI draft does not lower or increase the price of the finished contract. Custom contract drafting starts at $750 for Momentum members and $995 for non-members. Final pricing depends on scope. Drafting usually takes 1 to 3 weeks because there is often some back-and-forth.

If you need an assessment of a contract someone else gave you, use our contract review service instead.

When a template may be enough

A simple template can make sense for a low-stakes arrangement you can afford to unwind, with no meaningful intellectual property, payment risk, or relationship you need to preserve. If the contract affects any of those things, discuss a custom agreement before relying on a template.

AI contract draft questions

Can I use a contract ChatGPT wrote?
You can use an AI-created draft as a starting point. It can help communicate the deal you want. Before relying on it for an important agreement, consider whether the terms, responsibilities, and risks need attorney drafting or review.
Is an AI-written contract legally binding?
Whether an agreement is enforceable depends on its terms, how it was made, and the law that applies. AI authorship alone does not answer that question. See our guide to what makes a contract legally binding for the basics.
Will a lawyer review my AI contract?
We do not rubber-stamp an AI-created draft. For a new contract, we identify the requirements from the draft, send them to you for approval, and draft the contract ourselves. If you need us to assess a contract you received, a paid contract review may fit.
Does an AI draft change the price of contract drafting?
No. The requirements step has no separate fee. Your AI draft does not lower or increase the finished drafting price. The final drafting price depends on scope.
